What is the Great Big Give Back?
2023 is full of important milestones for our club. Not only are we celebrating a Century of Service in Presque Isle, but we are also marking 75 years of the Presque Isle Rotary Auction! Throughout those seventy-four auctions, we have seen significant change that has brought us from the radio and TV auction many know and love, to our newest format: The Great Big Give Back.
In 2023, we will be continuing with new format and have gathered items from over 100 businesses to create gift baskets and will be hosting an online auction through Gregg Auctions. It all wraps up during our club’s 100th birthday celebration on April 25, 2023, where we will be selecting our lucky winners, honoring community members for their community service efforts, and awarding funds to local organizations – so be sure to save the date!
Proceeds from this year’s fundraising event will support the Presque Isle Rotary Scholarship Fund, Easton Prestile Community Park, PI Youth Hockey and Mapleton Fire Department.
Our Online Auction will run from April 1-22, 2023. In addition to the eight gorgeous raffle baskets we are selling tickets on at Graves Shop N Save (Fridays 4-7 PM, Saturdays and Sundays 9AM-3PM), we are auctioning off additional “big ticket” items and several themed baskets, valued at approx. $8,000.
